Layout and connectivity
Shaping the community layout
The layout of the development at Bodieve will establish how homes, roads, pathways, and open spaces are arranged to create a cohesive and accessible community. The proposals aim to balance the needs of residents with the surrounding landscape, ensuring a welcoming and practical design.
Key Features of the Proposals:
Roads and Parking: The layout will include safe and efficient roads, parking spaces for residents and visitors, and considerations to minimise traffic impact.
A new link road between Bodieve Road and Ball roundabout has already received planning permission.
Pedestrian and Cycle Connectivity: Dedicated pathways and cycleways are proposed to encourage active travel and improve links to Wadebridge and the surrounding areas.
Open Spaces: Green spaces will be integrated throughout the layout, providing accessible areas for recreation and relaxation.
We invite your feedback on how the layout can best serve the needs of the community, from practical concerns like parking to the design of pedestrian and cycle links.
